At Coast, we know that the educated customers make smarter choices.

That’s why we are here to provide you with the latest scientific research on cannabis, and let you find the blend to suit your mood.

Scientists have known for a while

that the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) helps your body process naturally-occurring cannabinoids, along with herbal cannabinoids like THC and CBD found in marijuana. The ECS receptors regulate a wide range of functions throughout your mind and body, including sleep, memory, immune responses, digestion, and pain management. Essentially every aspect of your daily life, down to how you feel, is guided by the ECS.

As researchers dive deeper

into the body’s reaction to marijuana, we’re learning that there are more benefits to the plant than just cannabinoids. Like many plants, the natural oils in cannabis contain a second set of active compounds, called terpenes. We’re starting to understand that these terpenes, when paired with the various cannabinoids, create synergistic benefits that many refer to as the “entourage effect” in your body. By including the full flower in all our products, we capture the interactive synergy between the various cannabinoid and terpenoid compounds as it delivers a much fuller spectrum of therapeutic properties when consumed collectively.

What does that mean for you?

It means that instead of offering highest THC content product on the market, you can select blends with carefully selected ratios of terpenes and cannabinoids to tailored to fit your needs.

Coast filtered pre-rolls offer the perfect boost to help you change gears. We’ve carefully crafted each of our blends to augment your experience and help you segue from one moment onto the next. Whether you have to brainstorm at the office, take a walk along the water, or unwind with a movie at the end of another hectic day, there’s a blend for that. Each blend selects the terpenes you need to get thinking, get moving, and get going. Each Coast blend is carefully calibrated to augment your experience, so you can be more productive, more social, and more yourself.

Scientists have identified hundreds of terpenes in cannabis plants, but we focus on a handful for their effects:

Terpene Profiles

A-B Pinene

A-B Pinene gets its name from a piney scent. This terpene supports neural connectors in the brain which are linked to memory retention and enhancement. The result is a clearer, more alert high that stimulates creativity and productivity.

Terpene Profiles

Myrcene

Myrcene works in the nervous system and muscular system, relaxing muscles, reducing inflammation, and creating a feeling of relaxation throughout the body. It is known to amplify the effects of cannabis by allowing the brain to absorb more cannabinoids. This terpene is typically used for stress reduction and a calming, meditative feeling.

Terpene Profiles

Terpinolene

Terpinolene is a floral compound that is known for it’s pain relief and anti-inflammatory benefits, and has been used for joint pain and headaches.

Terpene Profiles

B Caryophyllene

B Caryophyllene is a peppery terpene that targets the gastrointestinal tract to improve digestion, reduce heartburn, and other intestinal issues. It is also known to have calming properties that reduces anxiety. alpha-Humelene has a rich, hoppy aroma. It reduces muscle tension and swelling to promote an overall body calming effect.

Terpene Profiles

Linalool

Linalool is a lavender-scented terpene that affects the muscular system and the central nervous system, easing muscle tension, reducing muscle spasms and convulsions, and relieving pain to calm and sedate the user. Linalool is widely known as a sleep aid, and often used as an herbal alternative to stronger chemical sedatives.

Each Coast product utilizes the full cannabis flower to give you the full range of benefits from both cannabinoids and terpenes.
